Question Bali, Seychelles,or?

Anyone been, looking for a beach resort somewhere for next year probably may or June but can change.
Just want a chill couple of weeks at a nice resort .
Also any who did you book through?
Would you stop over for a couple of nights in Dubai on way out or return?

We have been to Bali twice and it lovely Sanur first then Kuta, preferred Sanur as its got a lovely promenade and lots of places to eat
We flew Cathay Pacific the first time and Qatar the second but didnt like the stopover in Doha/ Singapore as its a trail getting off and on the same plane!
This year Feb -Mar for our 25th anniversary (7 NOV LOL) we have been on a leg of P&O world cruise on Aurora visited Bali again this time we used Emirates and they are fantastic we stopped in Dubai but did'nt stop over as we had been before its very expensive but worth a look the airline is amazing couldnt fault it and we came back from Sydney via Bankok and HK
One thing to watch is the rainy seasons
Good luck Planning

We're not in a rush to go back to Bali, we stayed in Kuta near Seminyak which is VERY touristy, which we did expect beforehand, but disliked just how busy it was, the big turn off for us was the hawking on the beaches, we'd been to Thailand the year before (this was 2015) and they'd made hawking illegal which made a huge difference as you could enjoy the beautiful beaches rather than be harassed on them!

We did fly over to the Gili Islands for a few days while we were on Bali, you can go by boat also, it's an hour boat or 30 minute flight, both roughly the same cost. I'd love to go back to Gili or to stay in Lombok.

Not been to the Seychelles but if you're looking at the Far East, look at the Maldives, for us it's the full package of stunning beaches, diving, great food etc.

Thanks both some things to think about . Will look at the resorts mentioned.
Could do a direct to Mauritius with thomson from Gatwick going to see what dh says.
Plenty of planning to do, no rush.
Could do Newcastle to Dubai then onwards but not sure who to book through might give some random ones a ring or email next week see what they comeback with

We went to Bali this year. Stopped at Singapore for 5 nights on the way. We loved Bali. However, we did avoid the main built up tourist areas. We had 5 nights in Ubud and 5 nights in Nusa dua. I would love to go back. We fly with Emirates from Manchester to Singapore and then from Singapore to Bali with KLm. It was about 2.5 hour flight. Dubai is a good stop but it will be hot in June. I'm in dubai at the minute and it's around 38 degrees each day but the summer can be unbearable

Here's a curved ball... how about Bermuda since you are aiming to go in the Summer months (its weather is seasonal) - wonderful pink sand beaches ! Look at the Newstead Belmont Hotel.
Fly to Boston or New York ...then a quick hop over with Jet Blue.

We've flown East with Qatar, Singapore, Thai, Cathay Pacific & Emirates, I'd recommend any of them but would choose Emirates first, we've flown with them a few times and they've always been fantastic, really couldn't fault any of them though, all Eastern airlines are above and beyond the UK and US airlines imo.

I always book independently or through someone like Kenwood Travel, although our Maldives holiday this was through Southall Travel and I found some comparable deals with Hayes & Jarvis surprisingly (not found much with them for next summer yet though...).

Good luck, we love the Far East, you can't go far wrong wherever you choose, it's the most beautiful part of the world.
