I have (believe it or not lol!) bought a huge roll of thick bubble wrap to make sure all my glass jar candles are safe.
Just wrap them in the bags they were given to you in

For the larger candles I'd wrap them in the bubble wrap.

thank you, everyones been really helpful!

is it true that yankee candle will change the lid of the jar candle to a lighter weight one as well? cos those jar lids are thick glass and weigh a ton.

Can't answer on the lids but another solution for you could be to pop into a container store and grab a cheap container..

We did this for the 30 odd Bath and Body Works hand sanitizers and some candle melts!

Weve brought both back. Chocolate has always travelled well. Candles have usually been fine but one year the jars leaked and ruined some clothing. I would use the bubble wrap or plastic bags and not wrap in clothes or towels just in case.

Havent heard of the lightweight lids so will be interested to hear what anyone else has to say on this. 😄

We have done both too! Never had any problems with either ... not a bad idea to wrap them in something , better safe than sorry!

I must have been unlucky as twice I have came back and found the chocolate all melted. I think it is to do with if they leave your bags sitting on the tarmac for a while, rather than the actual flight.
