Woo Hoo my dress is here!

Hi just thought I would let you know my dress is finally here, which is a big relief.

However the shoes I bought, (and love) are high and make the dress too short as I am tall

. I spent the whole of yesterday trying to find meduim heeled shoes to no avail, so time was of the essence but I have managed to borrow some. The shop can't measure the hem until I have the shoes you see.

I have also lost quite a bit of weight, surely thats got to be a plus - er no! the dress has gone from fitting me perfectly with lots of curves in all the right places to - well just plain to big.

I have survived on home made soup and stir frys for months so this seemed very unfair. Still the shop do not seem fazed by having to take it in and it is beautiful. I am sure when it is finished it will be fantastic but with less than two weeks to go I just want it finished.

Thanks everyone when I walked into the shop it was hung up and it made me smile as soon as I saw it. I think after the worry of it not coming I just wanted everything to be OK and as my not so tactful mother in law to be said "why on earth you bothered to loose weight when it fit you fine three months ago I don't know, of course it wasn't going to be too big" she does have a point I suppose

. Still I am very pleased with both the dress and the amount of weight I have managed ton loose. And it means I can eat like a pig whilst I am there which sounds fantastic especially as I am about to sit down to eat stir fry again.
