Did somebody say butlins at sea. Marella cruise June 25.

A very late pre trip as we leave this week.
Just myself Julie and oh Matt going on this cruise, our first marella (Tui)

Everytime I mention marella, people reply it’s supposed to be like butlins at sea. We like butlins so should be ok.
Marella cruises are all inclusive, so unlike P&O, our previous and only experience of cruising, we will not be limited to drinks.
We sail from Limassol to Turkey and then to the Greek islands.
Very excited as never been to Greece before.
We are flying from our local airport. I have booked parking at the premier inn, £50 for a week.
Usually we take public transport but the flight times are too early/late for that option.

We did the Greek isles with Marella several years ago having sailed on the same ship when it was owned by Royal Caribbean.

People also tried putting us off before our last cruise calling it Butlins at sea. We loved Marella and had a fantastic cruise. Hope you have a fabulous time, I’m sure you will. Will enjoy reading your report.

We went Marella on our first cruise and loved it. The food was good, the entertainment better and the indoor pool (adult only) was bliss on a hot summers day. Enjoy 😊

We have loved it, nothing like butlins apart from the live music.
No trouble at all on there, just friendly staff and guests.
