June 2026 - Itinerary

Hi all,

Just started planning and didnt realise there was this section on the board! Ive started to look at an itinerary for our trip next June. There will be 2ad and 2ch (11 and 9).

Ive read somewhere about going to Animal Kingdom on first day to take advantage of our early wake up after the travel day? not sure if that's correct or not!

My only question would be have you tickets to Aquatica? I’d swap it for volcano Bay because it’s probably included with your universal tickets.
Animal kingdom sometimes opens early in the summer and it’s a very hot park so definitely nice and early on your first day

Agree with Shkyler, I would swap Aquatica for Volcano bay as it's included in the universal tickets, so will save some money and it's a great water park.

Also, we don't tend to have full rest days maybe a 1/2 day chill in the morning/pool then into a park or vice versa. I know you've got repeats in, but you'll definitely want more than 1 visit for each Disney park if possible.

If you're keeping the 2 full rest days, I'd move the first one to before Universal, as you've got 3 full straight days in the park to start with, which is quite full on. We tend to use waterparks as 'rest days' so that way you've got 2 park days followed by a rest day, then 2 more park days before a waterpark just spaces it out a bit more.
