how far ion advance do people sell points please

hi we are booked for 3 weeks next Dec 2026 and would love as a treat as its mine and hubby's 50th and daughters 16th and she will be done with gcses, to have a few days in a disney property like animal kingdom or polyneses at a disney vacation place, where and when would i need to look for making this possible please any advice would be great thank you

Hi, owners can book a DVC room 11 months in advance, so January 2026 for your December 2026 stay 😊

Thank you, ok so im best looking on here around January, is there anywhere else to buy points or is it better to stick on here?

You can also use a rental company to rent points. The most common are David’s rental and DVC rental store. It works the same way, although often it will be slightly cheaper to rent direct from an owner.

With the rental companies you have the option to pay on credit card though, and a little bit more protection if anything goes wrong 😊

Just to prepare you the Poly's will probably not be far off double the points of AK! If using someone like Dave's, you can put in a request before the 11 months & they will try secure it as soon as the window opens - probably more Poly than AK as AK is bigger NB. AK DVC is 2 resorts Jambo & Kidani- the former is part of the main Hotel & the DVC rooms are converted Hotel rooms & the latter is all DVC, so make sure you request the one you want.
