I've had a go pro in the past but hated the way it distorts the picture, nothing is straight like it's shooting in birds eye mode.
I just use my Fuji point and shoot camera, it records in 1080p so it produces good videos. (My upgrade soon as I now have a 4k tv).

posted this to another thread in this forum a little while ago:

SJCAM make good quality gopro knockoffs - ive got 3 of their SJ4000 cameras which i use for various things. i could either buy one proper gopro, or three of these. it was a no-brainer IMO

the sj4000 is an old model now though, so not many sellers still stock it.

its been superceded by the sj5000 and sj5000X and sj6 legend

sj5000 (1080p)
amazon/SJCAM-SJ500...cc85b5cece9e07

sj5000X (4k video)
amazon/SJCAM-Origi...0b3218eabfceac

and the SJ6 legend (4k)
amazon/Fodsports-S...995530bf95634c

if you look on the sjcam website sjcamhd theres also the SJ7star model due out soon and M rage of compact ones (like the smaller gopro hero session camera)

HTH

I believe you can take cameras/GoPro type cameras on rides in Disney, not at Universal/Sea World though

You can take them on rides at Seaworld and Busch gardens as long as they are on a chest mount or wrist mount.

The new ones can be used without the fisheye effect
