Aww that's brill! I thought Ruth Jones was taking a couple of years off writing so I'm pleased it's back sooner than I expected but disappointed it's the last series.

Ditto ... I'll still buy it when it comes out on DVD but I'm hoping for a lot better than the last series ...

I love Stella and anything Ruth Jones does is excellent. However, the last series wasn't as good as previous ones so maybe Ruth would prefer to end the series before she runs out of great storylines. Looking forward to the new series though

I only started to watch at series 3 and loved it so much I went and watched series 1 and 2 straight after each other. Been looking forward to it returning but quite sad it's coming to an end, but most of my favourites seem to be ending / ended recently
