I'm not keen on Avacado on its own but love it in a prawn cocktail or when it's in a dip ( guacamole ) .
I like Liver and Onions but I am so fussy that when I am slicing it up to cook I cut out any tubey bits and only keep all the lean bits, I end up chucking half of it away and could never eat it out as I am sure they would just chuck it all in the pan ... yuk.
Funnily enough I have had some steaks that taste a bit " livery " haven't enjoyed those steaks as steaks are not meant to taste anything like liver

When I was younger I also disliked Olives, I love them now.

I like smashed Avocado on toast, with chopped onion, chopped tomatoes and poached egg on top sprinkled with chilli flakes.

I must try it with the egg. Looks good. Thanks for the tip.
The sorbet..hmmm. Not a fan of smoked salmon or sorbet but shall pass it on to dh as he loves both.

Uggg...I just never liked the taste of liver in cuts or pate. That weird taste afterwards...

Mushrooms are giid but they have to be cooked. Some can eat them raw like on salads etc but taste better cook and they can really bring a dish together with their flavor. Especially those yellow ones (forget the name)..nice bit of pepper flavor.
I was in Sweden a few yrs ago visiting a friends and must of picked 200 of them in the forest. Get back to the house so we could prep them to be dried and someone (not me lol) picked a few that were bad (poison) so we had to throw the while batch away. All that work picking. I was a wee bit annoyed!
