I know my son went round by himself with his GF driving the cart. I have booked on there as a two ball and another two were on the tee to play with us. I think you are more likely to get a game on your own if you just turn up and ask to play as opposed to booking a tee time

Mystic Dunes was in an extremely terrible state the last time DH played. They have started to build a 55+ community around the golf course now which may explain why it has become run down. Definitely one to avoid for awhile if it is even open.

DH always books through Golf Now and never more than 24 hours ahead.

unless there is a high profile course that you wanted play (sawgrass , bay hill etc ) which requires staying at the resort I would wait and book once you are out there , Golfnow app or website is great for showing available tee times and reduced rates ( I like to watch for times that show availability for only 1 golfer as I hate playing alone )

My DH will wait until we are out there and look on Golfnow as he is a solo player looking to join up with other players. He had played Highlands reserve, orange lake, celebration, Falcons fire and A couple of the Disney courses. Will be looking to play a few times in October.
