I'm ashamed to say I'm a reluctant cook who has little knowledge of how to use many ingredients but some of these ideas sound lovely. I use mine to do a joint of either beef or lamb. Makes the meat lovely and tender, of course the stews or plain chicken meals. I get so tired of the same old thing week in week out and as I'm the only cook the family they get what they're given! going to have to try some of these recommendations.

Did gammon in coke. I know lots rave over this, not so sure.

Prefer mine with a spot of maple syrup and a dab of hot water. Served with cauliflower cheese and carrots.

Today's tea is chicken provencale - throw some baked pots in oven on slow and will all be ready when get back from Dmils.

Keeps as well - just in case the gossip runs on longer than expected !

The lasagna worked very well, but you might want a liner for it. In two minds about trying the pizza but will give it a go.

Italian Swiss steak was good too.
