Picky Eater

Hi all you lovely peeps,
On our next visit we will be going with my mum and her partner. We have discussed trying all sorts of different restaurants but i do have to be mindful that my mums OH is quite picky when i comes to his food, he doesn't like salads, rice, pasta, pizza really he likes plain simple food. Now the majority are fine but one we are all in agreement on wanting to try is Teppan Edo, however my concern is he will just be eating a piece of steak as he doesn't like the majority of accompaniments. I know it sounds like a stupid question but would they have the option to give him fries or something to actually make a meal? Has anyone had any experience of this please?
Thanks in advance
Helen

You might struggle to get fries in TE.

My two picky eaters ate the noodles.

What about getting fries at the Liberty Inn afterwards.

No fries in teppan edo. They will do noodles plain, steak or chicken plain and white rice. Maybe you all go and meet up later, he could go to American pavilion qs.

I'd be telling him to find his own places to eat, or look through some menus and come up with some suggestions of his own.

I wouldn't pander to an adult not wanting to eat pasta, pizza, rice or whatever.

I'd suggest point him to have a look at:

https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/menus.php

Quick easy links to some menus and let him pick a few you can all go to, but let him know you plan on eating at X Y and Z and he should make his own arrangements as these are places you really want to eat at, and might struggle to find something suitable to him.
