Recommended airboat ride or attractions near Fort Lauderdale?

We are starting out trip next year at Fort Lauderdale (spending 3 nights) and I thought whilst we are there it might be worthwhile taking a trip to the Everglades.

Does anyone recommend a company/tour to use? or recommend anything else in the area? Will be 2A and 2C (9 and 11).

Thanks

I'd be interested in this as well, my BIL, SIL and nephews will be going down to the Glades and wanted to do this.

We are staying in Orlando and going to Boggy Creek

If you're into barbeque type food then the 4 hour evening river cruise around FLL with comments on who owns the big houses etc followed by a barbie and show on their island has been going for many years. My DD went a few weeks ago whilst on honeymoon and loved it. It's called the Jungle Queen (junglequeen). I last went 37 years ago on our honeymoon so my review might not be uptodate but DD said she enjoyed the tour food and entertainment.

When we docked in Fort Lauderdale we went on a cruise through the canals on the Carrie B which was a lovely way to spend an hour or so. We were also talking to some other cruisers who mentioned getting a day ticket on the water taxis and using them to travel up and down the inter coastal. Shopping from Fort Lauderdale we like both Aventura Mall and Sawgrass which is the largest outlet mall in Florida.

We spent 4 days in Fort Lauderdale 2015, it is a beautiful place. You could hire bikes to cycle along the promenade. A day trip to Miami?
We went on this
riverfrontgondolatours/

Really nice we went at 10am, we were the only ones on the boat the 3 of us, he let us drive the boat for a wee while. Seen lots of huge yachts.

The only minus about the water taxis they do not run on time, you could be waiting a good 40/50 minutes on one coming along, there is a timetable up but none appear at the times. We wont be buying tickets this time, I felt it wasted an awful lot of time waiting about.

Lovely restaurants along Las Olas Boulevard.

We liked FL so much staying 1 night the day we arrive & 5 nights at the end of our holiday.
There is a hop & hop off bus too. We like walking a lot, we will walk to most places.
