We stayed in a 3 bed condo at Reunion via RCI, in one of the grande villas buildings. There was a small pool to that building but you had to drive to use the waterpark/lazy river. They rigidly enforce the no food or drink there even confiscating unopened water bottles, which forces you to buy their food/drink. There was no community feel there whatsoever, and the condo was not furnished to a high quality. The washer/dryer didn't work properly. Also, be careful if you are looking for villas there as many don't have pool screens. I'm sure the high end villas would offer an entirely different experience, but we were not impressed with the condos.

I did notice the lack of screens. Apparently they spray the area but one wonders what with! Although I suppose Disney sprays WDW.
The villa pools also looked small too. I looked at the availability calendars of a few of the villas and they look staggeringly open. Thanks for your post. Edited at 11:34 PM. |

Reunion and Encore are 2 separate communities both have water parks, encore is split in to 2 parts which straddle old Lake Wilson road, 1 part butting up to the i4 and on the other side you have the 429, I don't think any of the pools have screen enclosures either on encore'
Reunion is a mix of pool homes, town homes and condos were as encore is just pool homes. Steve |
