Spectrolee's Three Week Disney Trip - Day 6 MK and Epcot

We headed to Magic Kingdom today as we had a FP for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

First though was a fastpass for Winnie the Pooh. Joni and Ed didn't really appreciate the dark section with the lightening, but apart from that it was ok.

We took turns riding this and looking after the kids.

We were feeling peckish (so much that the flatbread nearly never survived long enough for a pic)
Davie, Isabel and I shared a caprese flatbread and a chicken Parmesan pasta (which came with a caesar salad on the side)
For our drinks we took two French vanilla iced coffees and split them.

All the food was really good for a quick service restaurant
The mozzarella on the caprese was proper mozzarella (not the rubbery stuff usually on pizzas) there was fresh basil on top and a balsamic glaze.
We all really liked the pasta too (even Joni got tucked in)

Next fastpass was Dumbo! We had a ball!

Eva,Ed and Matt had a Beaches and Cream reservation so we jumped on the monorail to the TTC and switched to the Epcot loop

This wee pickle lasted so well today with all the rides and running around .She still squeezed in time to fling Duffy round the bed.
We all had a fantastic day, but will need a quieter day tomorrow.

After a trip under the sea with Nemo we played in the Seas Pavilion for a while to stay cool. Turns out Joni loves fish!

We parted company with Eva, Matt &a Ed and hit the Australia food booth.
Davie and I had a Lamb T Bone each and Joni had a Lamington

There were two pieces of lamb in each portion, great use of a snack credit

We also tried the Shiraz here

Cooled off in Mexico with the Three Caballeros

While browsing the Norway Pavilion I noticed that Larry Dotson was signing his prints. Eva and I were going to get the Saratoga ones anyway (I already have a Riverside one and Eva has a wedding one)
I got two of these, one each signed to Ed and Joni
This really made my day, such a nice wee bonus to have the artist sign them.

This mad Viking sneaked up behind me and blew a horn, he got more of a fright when I told him if he woke the baby he had to keep her for the day lol!
He kept threatening to bang the drum to waken her.

He stole her Olaf

Then his friend came over to congratulate him on getting Olaf, then he pretended to blow the horn in her buggy.
Was a really good laugh- they were interacting well with loads of guests.

Never noticed a thing!

We used three snack credits in the India Booth
Warm Indian Bread, Madras Red Curry, Korma Chicken
The standout dish was the Madras. Really flavourful with a nice amount of heat.

Joni woke up unaware that her Olaf had been temporarily pilfered.
Isabel took her to the Liberty Inn for a cheeseburger. (She ate none of it, and according to Isabel she didn't blame her as it was an awful burger - dry and tasteless)

Isabel Joni and I headed into the America Garden Theater to catch David Cooks second set of the evening. Cheesy American rock but we loved it!

Joni decided Olaf was better wearing her ear defenders.

Final snack of the night was the Spicy Hummus Fries. They were like falafel but a lot more moist.

That was us finished with World Showcase for this visit.
I had managed to get an 8:20 fastpass for soarin' so we all headed there.
Davie and Isabel rode first. The cast member gave Davie a rider switch fastpass so I didn't have to ride alone. We really enjoy the new version of this.

Got this for a snack credit in Sunshine Seasons. Would be $6.69 OOP - don't think it's worth that at all.

We kept Davie entertained today with the Remy Hide and Squeak scavenger hunt.
He's hidden in each Pavilion with a different ingredient.

You then match the sticker with the country. Once completed you can hand it back in for a prize (keychain)

Don't want to post all the pictures and give away locations for anyone planning on playing, but here is on as an example.

I haven't seen Eva yet as they were already in bed when we got back, but she sent me some pics today of Beaches and Cream
