'Ohana

Sorry not many photos tonight. We had a lovely meal. It was very relaxed and didn't feel we were rushed at all.

First we had the ‘Ohana Pineapple-Coconut Bread (sorry no photo) which the boys weren't really a fan of

Mixed Greens Salad with a Lilikoi dressing
Then the salad which had a delicious dressing. Freddie had about 3 plates full and I have never seen him eat salad in his life !

Pork Dumplings tossed in Garlic-Ginger Sauce
served with Peanut and Sweet-n-Sour Sauces

Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings
served with Peanut and Sweet-n-Sour Sauces

Noodles, tossed in a Teriyaki Sauce with Fresh Vegetables

The dumplings were tasty and I loved the noodles.

Sweet-n-Sour Chicken
prepared over an oak fire, served on Skewers with Peanut and Sweet-n-Sour Sauces

Szechuan Sirloin Steak
prepared over an oak fire, served on Skewers with Peanut and Sweet-n-Sour Sauces

Spicy Grilled Peel-n-Eat Shrimp
prepared over an oak fire, served on Skewers with Peanut and Sweet-n-Sour Sauces

Then came the meat & shrimp on skewers (sorry no photos).

Only Kev had the shrimp. The chicken was delicious and steak also very tasty.

‘Ohana Bread Pudding à la mode with Bananas-Caramel Sauce

Then came the desert. Not a huge portion when split between 4 but as we were already stuffed this wasn't a bad thing !

Overall a nice meal. Not sure I would add it to my "must do" list but if I have DDP again and credits to use we would return.

I've tried it previously and wasn't so keen. I decided to give it a go again but had it without the ranch dressing as there was just too much going on. Much nicer without. The bread is lovely

Beverly Sunset

In the absence of Starring Rolls for us to grab breakfast from we made do with snacks from Beverly Sunset next door. We are on vacation so it's ok to eat fudge for breakfast right?

Tommy had some Cookies & Creme Fudge

I had a Cookies & Cream Woopie Pie (very nice but a lot more frosting than cake)

Kev had the Carrot Cake Cookie which I'm glad to see you can still get now Writer's Stop & Starring Rolls have gone

And Freddie had a decorated marshmallow !
