Healthy eating...Motivation

Even though the numbers are ticking down every day towards the holiday I cant seem to get into the swing of healthy eating again. What are the things that help motivate you? I'm following slimming world (which works for me as long as I stick to it properly) I walk everywhere, but this weather isn't motivating me to do more than that. Any new recipes that are worth a try?

I'm not much help as I could have written this post I lost a stone in 6 weeks and I think I've put about 4lbs back on these past few weeks I'm really struggling to motivate myself. As you say slimming world works if you stick to it.

My plan for next week as I've written this week off is meal planning going through slimming world recipe books and making sure my snacks are healthy!

My colleagues signed me up to do Tough Mudder in Sept .. I need to shift flab for that so that's my motivation.

My eating has been good, just eating better things and not snacking on rubbish like I normally do.

I also bought the Scarlett Moffatt DVD, it's really good and can be broken down into 8 exercise classes of only about 7 mins each (plus warm up and cool down of course).

I've lost a stone and have 1.5 to go.

Thanks I'll have a look.

Thanks for the replies, I did really well previously but old eating habits crept back in and I've rediscovered my love of cake...way too much cake haha. I might try a food diary again as writing it down usually keeps me behaving

I am following Slimming World. I started mid January & have lost 15lbs so far.
Some recipes we have tried & loved:

slimmingworld/recip...a-chicken.aspx
slimmingworld/recip...in-a-bowl.aspx

This website is great for inspiration. You can pretty much find a SW version of most of your favourite dishes - twochubbycubs/slimming-world-recipes/

I also buy the SW magazines at club (6 issues a year) as they have lots of great recipes in them. We have tried:

White Chili Chicken
Sri Lankan Yellow Curry
Chilli Burgers
'KFC' chicken with wedges & corn on the cob

Hope this helps xx
