Easter Day lunches, what are we all eating apart from chocolate!

We're having the usual Greek Easter dinner

Lamb on the spit, Greek potatoes (they're cooked in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano and rosemary) tzatziki, pitta breads and Greek salad.

Just me and dd17 as older daughter went back to uni yesterday.
We're having roast chicken, stuffing, roast potatoes, mini sausages and carrots.
Then there's two slices of chocolate fudge cake for pudding and then DD is making crispy cakes/Easter nests for later

I'll be making a lasagna later.
I miss having my family around for roast lamb or turkey on Easter Sunday

had a huge baking session with the kids yesterday so various mostly chocolate based bakes to pick from for dessert later as totally stuffed from the main.

Well pretty impressed with the Lidl beef joint I bought and will buy again. The pudding/cake was also delicious although it started off like this

I have just had another Christmas dinner! 😋 Roast Turkey, sausage meat, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, broccoli and carrots.
Followed by New York cheesecake.

son has opted for pizza and noodles

We had a roast dinner yesterday when my dad came

We're having roast leg of lamb - using a Hairy Bikers recipe where you sit the lamb on onions & apricots & put white wine in the oven tray. Studded it with rosemary & garlic & it's smelling good!
Having it with dauphinois potatoes, Charlotte potatoes, red wine roast carrots & mange tout & baby sweetcorn.
My friend's bringing dessert which is hot cross bun bread & butter pudding! All followed with cheese & biscuits and fruit cake.

Just had mine. Roast chicken, all the trimmings followed by Cadbury cream egg. yum yum
