Day 1 – Magic Kingdom 4th June
Breakfast – Crystal Palace Our first Disney meal was breakfast an 8.05 ADR at Crystal Palace. After reading so many trip reports this had to be our first port of call and I wasn’t disappointed! The food was delicious and the choice was excellent, the breakfast lasagna was as good as I’d imagined and we all had a good variety of food. Our server was also excellent, very on top of things and efficient and the main stars of the show made my whole day! I didn’t know how Callum would react with the characters but he surprised us all, he was so excited as soon as he saw them and was shouting them over. And he ran up and cuddled each one, kissing them on their noses. It was the most adorable moment ever and I had tears in my eyes, Ryan was just as excited hugging them all and the interaction was amazing. I couldn’t fault any of it at all. A memory that will stay with me for a lifetime. Dinner - wolfgang puck express Disney Springs, Marketplace After reading about here on the DIBB i suggested we head here for dinner, we were all starving! We ordered 4 portions of chicken tenders with fries, chicken meatballs with spaghetti and rigatoni bolognese. The tenders were for my mum, dad, liam and boys. None of them are in any way adventurous with food! I shared 1 portion of these between the 2 boys which was plenty. They all enjoyed them and said they were nice. The spaghetti and meatballs were good too although my sister couldnt finish it all. My rigatoni bolognese was nice, it had broccoli in it! Although i really enjoyed that. We tipped our waitress $20 as she was very attentive and helpful Snacks – Magic Kingdom We have used a lot of snack credits today as we wanted to just see how it went for the first day and then alter accordingly. We have now decided to pay oop for drinks as this itself will use up a huge amount. Our first snacks of the day were at Gastons Tavern, it was about 11am and my dad was feeling peckish and we were all thirsty, so we ordered an apple juice, orange juice, sprite, lefou’s brew and a Ham and cheese stuffed pretzel with chips and a hot tea. (I forgot piccies though! ) It was only after receiving his food that my dad realised in America chips aren’t chips as we know them! I loved the lefou’s brew however no body else liked it, more for me then! So this cost us 4 snack credits and a QS credits. A bit later we stopped at Storybook snacks for ice cream, we had a hot fudge sundae, 2 swirl ice cram cups, a hot tea and a sprite, another 5 snack credits gone. The ice creams were huge, eough for 2 people to share, 1 shared the 2 I ordered between 3 or us and it was plenty, my mum and sister easily shared the sundae too. On the way put of Magic Kingdom we stopped in Goofy’s where my sister got a flapjack and a beauty and the beast cupcake. Another 2 snack credits. She said the cupcake was nice but very rich and sickly, my dad however said the flapjack, which had jam of some kind in it was delicious! Total credits used: 6 TS 7 QS 11 Snacks |
