Staying at campsite - who has done it?

I'm a bit late to the party on this one. Just having a look online at doing a one night stay at the campsites. It says the pitches sleep up to 10 people and for our dates it is coming in at $53.99, would we really get 10 magic bands for that price?

if you book 10 people in, yes. Do you need 10 magic bands?

Well there's 12 of us in our group... 2 of which have annual passes and new magic bands bought earlier this year

Log into mde and you can select your colours and personalise, if not you get the standard grey ones I think!

Oooh, after reading this I'm thinking this sounds interesting. So as things stand at the moment, if I was to book campsite for one night, can you book fast passes at 60 days out for your arrival day at campsite and departure day from campsite only? Is that right? I have the 14 day tickets.

60 days out for arrival and departure date, then 59 days out for day 3, 58 for day 4 etc I think!

It's a shame that Disney have created a system that motivates people to make unwanted residential bookings to get the most out of the parks. It must mess with availability for people who actually want to stay. ... I don't blame the 'bookers', bearing in mind how competitive the WDW experience has become. It's just not the best situation.

If you already have magic bands and check in online, will the parking automatically link to your magic band?
