Made my first Mickey ears
Hey guys, thought you'd like to see my first attempt at Mickey ears! I really wanted to try the wire ears that I'm seeing all over the internet. I'm very proud of my Ariel inspired ears. I'm hoping to make an Alice pair next, as these are the two characters I want to Disneybound as in Florida next year! What do you think?

Absolutely brilliant! We're planning on making some for our trip this year... just waiting for some of the stuff to arrive from e-bay - hope ours turn out as well as yours!

Finally got the stuff in for my Alice ears! I messed up the ribbon on one side, I'll just wear my hair over it, lol!

They're lovely! I've been making them for our trip too but not tried the wired ears yet. How did you attach the wire? With hot glue?

Thanks! Yeah, I made the shapes, and left a bit extra on the ends so I could hot glue them to the hairband. It does mean you have to hold them in place as they dry, though! I used the ribbon to hide the ends (and all the chalk marks and glue, lol)
It's very much the same method used in this how to |
