Stupid question but can you freeze creme brûlée? I expect not, but I'm making a lot of meringues for an event tomorrow and I'll have yolks coming out of my ears (I know you can buy whites on their own, but I find I can never get chewy meringues with them) - so creme brûlée would be a good thing to make to use them up

Every time it's a gift giving event for my Dad he asks me to make him a gypsy tart. I'd never heard of it when he first mentioned it. It's grown to be one of my favourites.

I've frozen it before to get it cold and it's been fine, just add sugar when it's been defrosted.

I freeze the custard in lined ramakins or any small moods that hold about a cup measure
And make the Carmel seperatly Take the moods out of the freezer leave for a few minutes
Turn them out on to individual plates break up the Carmel into shards decorate serve with raspberry coulis and a few fresh raspberries
Or I sometimes just decorate them with spun sugar cages

I know you already have a cheesecake but my next door neighbour used to make me a baileys cheesecake every year for my birthday and to this day it is still my favourite!

I love ice cream and toppings for celebrations - mini marshmallows, sprinkles, sweeties, choc chips, nuts, syrups, fruit etc.
