Mobile Christmas in WDW

hi all,
I've never been to WDW as an adult - last time I was there was 14 years ago and it certainly seems like a lot of changed!

We're spending Christmas there this year and I'm very excited!

We fly DEcember 23rd and will be there until 6th Jan, yes we're aware it will be crazy busy but still can't wait!

Is there any Christmas must do's? (we've booked the candlelight dinner package for Christmas Day)

Hello and a warm welcome. We spent Christmas and New Year there in 2012. I would say make sure you take mixed clothes as one day we was in shorts and T Shirt and the next you could be in long trousers and jumpers/ coats, hats and gloves. We wasn't prepared for it being that cold and had to buy some things there. Enjoy, it's fabulous. Yes, it is very busy and you don't get on many rides per day but it's great to see and feel the festive season there.

Welcome to theDibb

Christmas is a great time of year to go, our favorite by far. BUT, it is very busy. If you can at all I'd recommend onsite at that time of year

I did a trip report on our last Christmas trip
https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho...d.php?t=850257

Feel free to ask anything

That would be my top tip!
Perhaps have a read of my trip report in my signature. We went just after Christmas too.
Do take some time to get to the Disney resorts to se the decorations, no hotel is the same.

I can't wait to visit the resorts! It sound daft but when we were last there we never knew you could visit the hotels if you weren't actually staying there - it's a total revelation to us and i am buzzing! We've made reservations at a couple of hotel restaurants - we've booked the California grill for my dads 65th birthday surprise so cannot wait for that!
We've also booked up to do a sleigh ride around fort wilderness after dark on Christmas Eve which we saw reccomeded on one of the Dis videos so that looks fabulous.

Thanks for your welcomes! So nice!

I will deffo read your report thanks so much, unfortunately we're not staying onsite we've got a villa as we would have had to pay for 3 hotel rooms which was crazy expensive!

Is there anything you think can make it even more Christmassy?
