I have bought a few TVs , tyres, rugs, car battery charger and loads of toys at Christmas in Costco. I was hoping to but the iFly vouchers in there when I was in Florida but was told they only do them near Christmas. They were $40 instead of $70 at ifly. I have seen them in the U.K. Store for the Milton Keynes ifly so may get those as we really enjoyed it in Florida.
Bought many birthday cakes too, love the icing.

For us, no not worth it. Joined for a year only. My sister loved coming with me and spend over £100 each time. Sadly we couldn't afford that and had to resist temptation. Okay if you can afford to buy in bulk I guess. The prices weren't always cheaper than supermarket offers so need to know your prices.

We have Company cards as my husband purchases stuff for his business - toilets rolls, kitchen paper, water, cleaning products etc. We do buy some food there especially their packs of meat which are excellent value plus some frozen food. We also get laundry detergents, wine and spirits.(These are paid for using our personal cards!) They have some amazing items at Christmas time.
Tend to use them in the USA for bottled water.

The "cashback voucher" we get each year more than covers the annual fee.

We have used costco for about 10 years now and love them. Admittedly when we lived in a smaller house the membership only got used when we hosted parties, or for new appliances, but now that we have the storage space we buy nearly everything non perishable in bulk. Whether or not it actually saves us a lot of money is questionable, but it suits us to always have what we need.

We probably go every couple of weeks. We have a trade card and an executive card but use the latter for cash back. We buy water, soft drinks, detergents, wine, champagne, meat. Both our washing machine and tumble dryer are from there as is our big fridge, TVs, phones.
We use it a lot as you can see. Resisting temptation is a big thing
