Quidco/Go Compare
Hello Dibbers
Anyone else been told by Quidco that their claim with GoCompare has been declined? I logged into my account yesterday and read this "We're sorry to tell you that this retailer does not accept cashback claims, so we're unable to investigate this further for you". I have been chasing this cashback since February and I haven't even been told officially by Quido that this has been declined, it was only because I logged into my account that I found out. Absolutely terrible. I appreciate that cashbacks are not guaranteed however why are Quidco still advertising GoCompare on their website if that retailer does not accept cashback claims? Any know the answer to this? You would think Quidco would take this down from their website as it is misleading to believe you are going to get cashback when clearly you are not and Quidco know this! To say I am disappointed I am not getting £26 cashback, is an understatement! Considering closing my account with Quidco if they continue to advertise GoCompare as it is just not on! |

It means they won't entertain claims against declined cashback.

Might be worth a post on their Twitter or Facebook page asking why they are still advertising GoCompare?
Whilst cashback claims aren't guaranteed, as you say it's not right for them to still be offering GoCompare cashback knowing that they will not honour it.

Maybe i'm misunderstanding then.
I thought "We're sorry to tell you that this retailer does not accept cashback claims" Meant they are not offering cashback?

Complain to them
I've had a few declined by quidco and it's annoying. I know they are not guaranteed but when it happens regularly and when they are still advertising for that company,miss just plain wrong. They pay me out as 'a gesture of goodwill'after I complained as a few claims were refused. I feel much the same as you though and am thinking of closing my account. Xx Ff xX |
