Anna Maria City Pier damaged

I know there are a lot of Dibbers who love AMI as much as me,
apparently the island didnt get too much of a battering and no storm surge but the poor old City Pier has lost part of its roof

We were planning to go to AMI yesterday, will have to do it next trip now! Glad it's still there to visit!

No worries, they'll have that fixed in no time! I just hope the recently refurbed Bradenton Pier hasn't been spoiled too much.

Looking at the local press websites AMI, Longboat Key and Sarasota bayside got off remarkably lightly

Went to ami yesterday. Still recovering but most things open. The pier is closed as there is no barriers and it took a battering but locals were saying it shouldn't be long before it's open again.
Happy to have made it as we fell in love with the place a few years back
