Clarion LBV. Best rooms for quite and watching sun rise
It will be our first time staying at Clarion at LBV. Going in February as a first also. Any advice please on best rooms? I'am such a light sleeper that a quite room is my upper most concern but then i like to watch the sun rise or set. Are there any rooms that you can recommend. Also love high floors. Thanks for your response in advance

Rooms face either the car park or the I4 motorway.
For a quiet room, you probably need one overlooking the car park as likely to be quieter. Rooms facing the I4 motorway can understandably suffer from almost constant traffic noise. From memory, the rooms go up to either floor 4 or 5? This is based on our stays there some years ago; noise proofing may have been improved since then although rooms facing either the car park or the motorway is not likely to have changed. i cant recall the orienation of the rooms for sunrise watching but the only windows are by the doors , there is no balcony, so you would have to open the curtains
as above overlooking the car park is quieter than the i4 side i would imagine we had car park side |

Yes you'd need to open the curtains or stand outside your room on the external corridor/walkway.
With the external walkways running past each room, with the curtains open, anyone walking past your room would be able to see into much of your room including the beds. Based on how the I4 runs, I would guess the car park facing rooms face north & I4 facing rooms face south so no sunrise/sunset facing rooms as such but just a guess & I could be wrong.
