That seems to be a good price! I booked RPR via Travel Republic for 5 Nts RPR Club level for 2A+2C for next July with £1 deposit. Grand total £1746

We had a club level room a few years ago and found it well worth the extra it was a quiet time of year when we went but found it very relaxing in there and staff were fantastic

For future, you could have booked Expedia and then instantly price matched against Universal. I know that may sound stupid, but you can then price match in future if the price comes down.
Also, Quidco and Expedia Points, brings the price down more. Quidco is currently 8% for hotel bookings.
