Roll or Fold

I mainly roll, but there are a couple Of things I prefer to fold.

I iron and fold but I roll the undies to make packing round the side

I folded everything this time and put them in one of those vacuum bags . OMG ! Brilliant .. I had so much room left in my case .
They weren't all creased when I undid it . Would defo do again .
We are at a villa so can use the Hoover to do the same on the way back .

I use the vacuum bags at home for storage. I was thinking how great they would be for packing when we go to Florida. My only worry was if my suitcase was one that was picked to be opened and checked. How would I reseal them at the airport. If I had a way to reseal, I would definitely use the vacuum bags for packing.

I let my wife pack for us both, who rolls and folds, then I carry and lift them into the car, off the car onto the check in, off the carousel , into the car, out of the car into the apartment, and then reverse the procedure to come home.
Full and heavy bags with not a spare space.
Oh, did I mention only a fraction of the clothes are worn and shoes are taken that are completely unsuitable ?
Heavy clothes "just in case".
She's done the same every holiday. She treats the baggage allowance as a target not guide.
She'll never change and I'm happy with that.💕

I'd always folded until this year.

I'd bought some packing cubes last year but could never fit much in them. That was until I spotted the roll method on another Dibber's thread. Well, I tried it out for our road trip in the summer and I'm a convert! Rolling all the way now.
