I've gone for 1-2 hours as well as it depends on immigration. Last year we were straight off the plane after 1 or 2 people and into an empty immigration hall. We had to actually wait on our bags but as we were in PE it wasn't long. We went straight to the garage with Hertz Gold and on our way. Can't remember how long but definitely within the hour. It's usually longer as immigration itself can take an hour.

Shouldn't that have been "front of the plane" as I know no UK airline flies First Class to MCO...

We landed at around 5pm and were at our resort checked in by 8pm, so it took maybe an hour or so to go through the airport.

We did our home work, we were Sat up in dibbers row, as the plane came into land we were told 2 other jumbos had also landed and it was a race to taxi. We packed our stuff checked the seats and were ready to leave as soon as we could, we had a fair wait for the cases, but didn't do the 2nd bag drop, these tips saved us loads of time.

Mid July for us and about 10-15 minutes. We were last off the plane but they were asking for couples or singles who had been to the US in the last two years which we had. They sent us through the self-service machines - it was so quick! Bags were already there and we were straight off. We landed at 5.40pm and had picked up the car and were on our way to SSR by 6.30pm - the longest part was getting off the plane!

We arrived yesterday, landed at 3.00 p.m and we were checking in to our hotel by 4.15 p.m.
We were off the plane quite quickly though so that helped, when I looked across while we were getting our luggage the queues were huge, when we got to immigration they were sending small parties who had visited since 2008 to the left to use the new machines, larger parties and people who hadn't visited since 2008 had to go to the right to go through the old process

We are here now, whooooo! Quite quick off the plane and through immigration super fast. We waited a while for our bags as they didn't all come off together (I will never understand this) and then on through. Declared some tea bags and kids snacks but no que, dropped our bags again as having young children we thought it would be easier. It was! No issues with picking them up. We were completley through even before our lift arrived to take us to our accommodation. Well under an hour all in all but...
We were almoast first off the plane. Landed a little early and no other planes arrived at the same time. Weather was good, all rain finished for the day. All in all, a very good experience despite the horror stories. Edited at 01:39 PM. |

Ours have been different each time, but never longer than 1.5 hours. I've voted 1-2.

I haven't voted as o don't want to skew the results. We travel with Aer Lingus direct from Dublin so arrive as domestic passengers, no immigration. Having said that it still takes us over an hour to get as far as the hire car as we always seem to have a longish wait for our luggage.
