Quebec 2016 - On y va LIVE - Day 7 Relaxation

Although I woke up early, the rest of the family woke up after 7am - progress!

DH nipped out to get breakfast - cinnamon buns for me!

Once we were ready we drove into St Donat to recycle the tin cans and just get some odds and ends at the supermarket!

As usual, we headed down to the lake. After yesterday's success I even went out in the canoe and then in the actual lake.

The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock ad usual.

After lunch, we went to the mini golf course.

There was quite a lot of discussion as to the rules but I still managed to win (down to a misspent childhood where we spent whole summers at Colwyn Bay! )

I dragged them on a walk around a local reservoir but the promised birds didn't happen. Just some ducks.

It was quite pretty though.

Another visit to the ice cream shop. Almost regulars.

Of course another visit to the lake.

Before getting back to watch the Olympic opening ceremony. Just as we got back the heavens opened and it bucketed down. There was some thunder and lightning.

The packing is almost done - we are sad to be leaving the log cabin but looking forward to the next part of our Quebecois adventure.
