Do you find it strange people speaking French in Canada? I know there are loads of french/Canadians but it just seems strange to hear people speak french in Canada. Our next door neighbors are from Quebec and when I hear them speaking french in the garden seems really weird.

Fingers crossed the next destination is as good.

The french is bizarre - we all speak french - the kids are bilingual but some things are lost in translation!

We were sad to leave the lake but soon picked up once we got to the next place

Are you using a 'real' camera?

Most of the photos here are taken on my iphone6 - a few are with my fuji waterproof camera. I also have a lot on my sony camera - though none in the reports as I had no way of transferring them over! The jugi camera has a wifi thingy so with the app on my ipad I could transfer them and then email them to my iphone!

I would like to - I have an awful lot of photos (the kids especially O roll eyes at my constant photo taking!) It could well become a winter project!

Thanks for the good wishes - we could have thrown O on the bus but we would be the first stop and then it visits every other village! His day is already long enough (8am to 4.30pm) without adding another 2 1/2 hours on the bus!
