Booking through Dreams Unlimited
Sorry for so many questions!
I read about this company on a dibb trip report and have a price from them which is at today's exchange rate £7 more expensive than Disney direct but you get $200 on board credit. Obviously the worry is if the exchange rate becomes worse the price of the cruise will go up but flip side if it improves the cruise would become cheaper. Has anyone booked with this company and were they helpful with organising things to make it an advantage to go through then rather than direct.

Yes I booked last October for a 4 night Disney cruise and they were super... No problems at all OBC set up, easy to make payments etc..
We cruised in August and will be requesting a quote for next year soon too... Hoping for a $ rise too! We dealt with Lisa... And recommend her as very efficient

Thanks Sameeel, so would you book with then rather than direct? I know they don't have the equivalent of ABTA but they said your money goes straight to Disney so I'm not concerned about that but the exchange rate does worry me. If it drops the cruise, expensive already, could become mega expensive!

It's a risk we all take by booking with US TAs, but it's not about the dollar rate for me (or less so) .. it's about the 100% T&Cs that you get by booking with a US TA or direct.
By booking direct, you're guaranteeing the price as you can pay in ££££. We use Travel on a Dream, a smaller, more personal TA. Prices will all be the same as DCL do not allow for discounts. Joa

Yes, all the same. Just don't book with a UK TA as you WON'T get those terms.

I was worried it wouldn't be as safe with US as not ABTA protected!

I've never thought of this with regards to a Cruise itself but then maybe I've just been a bit naive. As you get your booking ref etc through DCL I would assume its fine but maybe someone else knows.
