pre paid gratuities
Hi lovely Dibbers. I'm hoping someone can clarify something for me please?
I rang to pre pay my gratuities for DH and me for our upcoming 7 night cruise. The lady on the call said the total charge was £107. I double checked with her and she said it was correct. This sounds much cheaper than I was expecting it to be - Ive got the confirmation that my balance is Zero and gratuities are paid but I'm still not convinced it was the right amount. Can anyone clarify how much they paid ? Thanks W |

7 nights $84.00 each person, must have had a good exchange rate, about 1.54. You don't mention where you are going, around Europe or america, if Europe they may charge in euros.

Was that the exchange rate when you booked the cruise? Some other cruise lines lock in the exchange rate on the day it was booked - maybe Disney do it as well? I know It worked in my favour in the past as I could pre buy on board credit at a much better rate than I would have got at the time of travel.
