Dubai and Hong Kong - May 2017: Pre Trip Report

At the same time as booking the last hotel we wanted to get some tickets booked for the things we definitely knew we were going to do.

There was an offer for a 2 day ticket for Disneyland for HK$629 per adult & HK$447 per child so we booked that for the 3 of us. My daughter is only 2 so we didn't need one for her. I can't seem to find the offer again now so glad we booked when we did.

The plan so far is that we will use one day of our tickets on the 2nd day (Friday) we are there then the the other day of the tickets on our last day once we have stayed at the hotel. We intend to visit the Buddha then use the pool at the hotel the day we check in to Disney. This avoids visiting at the weekend unless the friends we are meeting would like to go too.

Next up was tickets for the Burj Khalifa. I did it with the kids when we last went 2 years ago but my husband wanted to go and as an Architect I'm always happy to visit buildings. Its not the cheapest either so we chose to go in the morning and book online now which lowers the cost a bit. I think it was still around £75 for the 3 of us as again we don't need to pay for my daughter.

We have booked that for our 4th day in Dubai as the plan so far is to spend the first 2 with my sister and family going to Friday Brunch then maybe Legoland, have the 3rd day at the pool then head to the Dubai Mall on the 4th day.
