Excited about Disney

Soooooo, I've got a plan . . .
which is to surprise the hubby with a trip to Hong Kong for his birthday in April. Have been having a little shufty at prices and currently its coming in at £1013 for the 2 of us in economy return just for flights booking direct with BA/Virgin. Looking on skyscanner, some company called Travel Trolley is coming in at £899 for the 2 of us but having read reviews it seems they don't guarantee the price or your tickets until they issue them and that is not something I want to deal with
So, my question is, is the £1013 a good price (we've never been to HK so I really have no idea) or am I better off cooling my heels as price reductions usually happen in january etc? I'm not really tied in to any dates, just has to be after hubbys birthday at the beginning of April (and i'm pretty sure we are supposed to have a Hep A injection reading other peoples threads, so I also need time to get him into the docs for that after he finds out on his birthday). Any previous HK dibbers have any idea on the best time to book/rough average price I should be looking to pay? (p.s I am also toying with PE both ways, or on the way home only if its quite expensive, as a bit of an extra surprise for him so any pricing averages for that as well would be greatly appreciated)

My parents did in to Hong Kong and home from Shanghai with Virgin for £1085. Both flights via Dubai. They tried a few companies and Emirates were the cheapest
