My laptop seems to have taken a dislike to avg since a recwnt update. Any other good free virus checkers out there? Ta

I had trouble with Avast and AVG over the years. If you have BT you can have BT Virus Protect this is free I have changed to this and wish I had had this one all the time

Avira free always does well in independent tests. That and a bit of common sense always steers me well.

I regularly clean my computer using CCleaner free and Malwarebytes free/ I use them at least once a month alongside my antivirus.
