My browsing is coming up on my daughter's laptop
Not too sure how this is happening but whatever I am browsing on my laptop is coming up on banner on my daughter's facebook on her laptop and phone. Luckily it didn't spoil any of her Christmas surprises but it is annoying. I'm on a macbook pro using safari as my main browser, how do I alter my settings, the sites which are mostly coming up are ebay and John Lewis?

If your daughter is getting banner ads for the sites you are browsing then you must be signed into google on her laptop. Go to google on there and sign out. clear all the cookies and you will then be OK.

I don't think I am she won't let me near her laptop
I couldn't find this. I do have two google accounts so I've gone into them and done the adsense thing turning everything off and turning off the tailored ads on google, hoping this helps. She says she sees some of her friends stuff on facebook too, I'm not on facebook but sometimes look at 'open' pages of businesses. |

No if it is something like a iPad showing on her laptop go to the settings tab( the one that looks like a wheel), then general then handoff.

Thanks to the Dibb, you can learn something new every day! DH has been saying for awhile that he could see what websites I’d been browsing. I’d never heard of the “handoff” setting but it’s now safely switched off.
