Wriiting quotes on an ipad?
I have a laptop with word on it which I only use for writing quotes as I much prefer using my ipad.
I want to be able to use the ipad for basic quotes, but the word software isn't cheap, so I googled other possibilities and it's a minefield (computers and software isn't my thing). Can anyone recommend an app/software that I can use on the ipad that doesn't cost a fortune. I only want to write basic quotes so nothing fancy, and be able to save them. Any help appreciated? |

I would be interested too. I have been looking for a cheap(or free !) way of doing my dh's estimates and invoices too. Just bought a new printer which can print from my iphone/ipad so if I could type them on there and print them straight off it would save a lot of time. My laptop is ancient and takes about half an hour to come on !

What about using the Apple software (eg pages) that’s very similar to word?

Go into an Apple Store - they give free advice and there are free classes you can attend if you want to know more.

I'd give google docs a try (or the Apple equivalent but both should work on your ipad)

Thanks for the advice, and although I like apple products I do not rate the staff in the apple stores I've been to, and I also don't have the time to travel miles for a free lesson in an apple store as I'm fine using my ipad and iphone, and I just want a free or cheap app or software that I can write quotes on.
I will check out apple software and google docs, and many thanks. |
