I don't find eating out in Dublin any worse than London. Yes if you want to eat at the latest trend place you'll pay through the nose but that's the same for everywhere not just Dublin.
The hop on hopoff tour is great , I stayed on the bus when it stopped at Guinness too Bewleys is fab for lunch and afternoon tea . I don't think I'd bother with Captain Americas fab burgers but a burger is a burger (takes me back I remember going there forty years ago ) |

I was thinking the same, there must have been some major drinks consumed to get to that price
There's plenty of reasonably priced places to eat
