What an awesome first day - the story about the video definitely gave a giggle.

We had a similar experience with Mickey the last time we had breakfast at Ohana back in 2015 - he was a miserable git, barely any interaction and he all but threw our daughters' autograph books back on the table when he'd signed them. Maybe it was the same one.

Thanks for sharing.

Great first day!
Your last photos bring back many memories of hiding in hotel bathrooms waiting for kids to fall asleep!
Thanks for sharing.

Another experienced hotel floor sitter here too! Thank goodness those days are past - my girls are 15 and 12 now so I'm usually the first asleep!

You definitely had a long first day today so I think Marceline did well.

Doesn't everyone have a pre-breakfast breakfast? 😂

I can remember my mum being the one reading by a light from the bathroom door and sitting on the floor. My Dad was always asleep the same time as my brother and I!

Oh what a lovely breakfast! Marceline did do well - Alice didn't get comfortable with them until she was 3!

Oh dude, that citrus swirl float looks amazing! Stupid dairy ice cream though - why can't it be dairy free, like dole whip

Looks like a lovely, chilled first day - thanks for sharing

'Ohana sounds like a bit of a shambles. 20 minutes to wait a character at a meal you are paying for isn't really acceptable, particularly when he used to greet tableside. I would have been as frustrated as Marceline. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of the meal, a shame about Mickey though, particuarly as Marceline looks so thrilled to see him.

Really enjoyed reading about the Christmas food booths, your evening sounds lovely.
