My daughter went on it in October maybe around 10 times. She's 4 years old.
Also went on Big Thunder Mountain around the same number of times. Just do it. dont over think about it.

I am a recovering ride wimp but really enjoyed 7DMT. It is much less scary than BTMRR and SM. No big drops and I think if you can do POC, you can do this one. I actually find it more enjoyable than Pirates.
The ride is about 30 seconds so I would not do it w/o FP. fun, interesting but not worth a 2 hour wait. |

We have fast passes so no long waits, which would give me too much time to think.
Sounds like my best option to try out, what's the worst that can happen?

Padcomp. that's been my attitude. Really what can happen? I hate heights but if my memory serves me, 7DMT is not very high and has no steep inclines-up or down.

It’s definitely a tame coaster! I’m a real big thrill seeker, I love the big rides and I found this ride quite boring really and it was so over quick. You’ll be fine, it’s safe.

What vein posted earlier is very, very true - sit at the front.
At one point sat at the front, I actually thought we had stopped because we were going so slow. Even if you don't sit near the front, it is really tame anyway. Speaking as one of the biggest ride wusses out there - I am constantly teased by friends and family about how I sit out rides -I would be quite happy going on that all holiday. It's just a lot of fun and not a thrill ride. Remember to sing hi-ho...

My daughter considers It’s A Small World a thrill ride and she went on 7DMT four times and really enjoyed it. Rx

Queen of Team Wimp here. Never done it yet but maybe I should!
I have to work myself up to POTC at DLP (which does actually have 2 minor drops, unlike at WDW where I was waiting for the drop and totally missed it!)
