Unlikely to get to London, do you know if the Lego shop at Disney Springs does this too ?
The mosaic machine at Leicester Square is currently the only one in the world but I'm guessing that in time it's something they will expand around their empire.

Can't wait for the updates
The grey board is 48 x 48 so 2304 bricks to lay. However they do provide you with 4502 pieces to cover all eventualities. I''ll count how many bricks for my actual face when its complete.

Thanks Geoffa - that is a shame :-(

What is the strange orange thing ? Is it to stick them down with, can imagine your fingers would feel the pain eventually if not. Or is it something to help those (less skilled than yourself, naturally!) that put them in the wrong spaces and need to lever them out?

It's the latter. You use it to lift bricks that may be incorrectly placed and the bit that sticks up is to push pieces out of holes that you may have incorrectly inserted pieces into. Does that make sense? You always get one with the bigger kits.

By the way I'm still waiting for my Capitol building set from Amazon

So I was bored with doing the mosaic line by line and I have now gone for the method shown on the Lego blog where you complete the background to get a silhouette of the face. Would you believe it - I had ONE yellow time left over when I'd finished the background. How close is that? I still have a lot of white to fill in before I get to the greys and blacks.

And Mr T M - the Capitol building I had for Christmas is still in its box. I have Big Ben to complete first!

Geoff. Coming along nicely. That was tight just 1 spare tile!

I cancelled my Amazon order yesterday as I think it was stuck in their system. Being canny that I am I was clocking the price and it dropped to £1 cheaper than I paid! Reordered it at 3.00pm and according to the tracking system it will be here this afternoon!
