Lego - London Bus

Hold very tight please! Ting! Ting!

The latest from Lego. A London Double Decker bus:

It is currently on sale to VIP Members only but will shortly go on sale to the general public.

Oh! You get a driving licence too!

As I build it I'll post pictures here.

I had an email for that the other day and thought how good it was, also had an email saying it was double VIP points this weekend until end of today too... good timing as OH is just off to pick up daughters birthday present from lego store after work ... think she would struggle with the bus though ... love the driving licence

They do recommend 16+ but I know some children far younger that manage them perfectly well.

Geoff. Very nice, my goodness Lego knows how to make sales with their products.
How big will it be when finished?

Edit. Just found it. Measures over 7” (18cm) high, 13” (34cm) long and 5” (13cm) wide.
Not cheap. But very nice as I said, maybe a good investment as well.

She has autism Geoff and lego is an autistic child's dream toy cos you can follow instructions, be creative etc etc but at same time she has motor skill issues so the really fiddly bits in the more advanced kits are sometimes very difficult and she likes to do it herself
Thought this might make a nice change from the lego friends sets and Disney princess sets she has and you can build it lots of ways... she will be 9

This is amazing. DS got Big Ben last year with his birthday money and I'm trying to persuade him to get this with his money this year to add to his collection.

That's the thing with Lego - you can create whatever your imagination comes up with. That model sounds ideal - I hope she enjoys it. Please see my PM.

Geoff I've just replied to your kind message... thank you.
I'll let you know what she thinks of her present in a few weeks, just had a look it's got light bricks in it too... she will be impressed by that 😀
