I know if I was in that situation and did that then it would stop the rattling... But it would be replaced by sustained moaning and nagging beyond the usual... Maybe the rattling isn't such a bad thing after all 😀

We're top floor in GF, and like you, the rain is hammering and the wind is literally shaking our room. Very scary, but yes, what an experience. Just hope everyone stays safe and it ends up being a great dinner conversation with a happy ending that you can laugh about, with relief!

Lights have just been flickering over here at pofq, hoping we don't lose power! No door rattling or anything yet but the wind is definitely getting stronger.
