Wilderness Lodge Explorers - October / November 2017: Index
Hello! Welcome to my now complete trip report for our 2017 trip to WDW!
 We stayed in the beautiful Royal Pacific Resort for two nights followed by Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort for 14 nights  I didn't write a pre-trip report so I'll do a brief introduction first... My name is Kate, this is my sixth trip report. I'm the spreadsheet loving, Disney obsessed, planner, Youtube video maker, Instagrammer, Dibber, procrastinator, worrier and trainee Chartered Accountant!  Don't you just wish you could wear snapchat filters in real life? This was my 11th trip to Florida and I was just as excited about this one as my first. Andy, my hubby, super hard worker, wonderful Dad, a (great) big (bushy) beard, lots of (Disney) tattoos and has now been promoted to chief photographer and assistant planner, his 9th trip.  Izzy, our eldest, will go on ANY ride, stitch fan, roller coaster junkie, clever little sausage, her 7th trip  Imogen, our youngest, super confident, super tall for her age, comedian, roller coaster junkie, her 6th trip.  And on to the trip report itself! Day -1: Pumpkin Spiced Latte - Hold the Coffee Pre Travel Day! Travelling to Gatwick and Staying at Premier Inn North Terminal Day 0: From the Atlantic to the Pacific Travel Day! Flying from Gatwick to MCO and checking in to Loews Royal Pacific Resort! Day 1: Accio: Butterbeer! Universal Studios and Cowfish Day 2: From the Pacific to the Wilderness Islands of Adventure and moving to Wilderness Lodge Day 3: Magic Kingdom and Moonshine Magic Kingdom, Target and Homecomin' Day 4: Boba Balls and Moss Walls Pandora, Tusker House and Rivers of Light Day 5: An Epic Epcot Day With Dibb Friends Epcot, F&W with friends, Geyser Point and Happily Ever After from WL Day 6: One Stop Outlet Shop Outlet shopping, HS and Fantasmic Day 7: Banshees and Blueberry Mousse Flight of passage, Satuli Canteen and Narcoossees Day 8: Don't give me those goo goo eyes Epcot, Whispering Canyon and Happily Ever After Day 9: Rum, Fun and a Broken Phone BOG Breakfast, Lilo’s Playhouse and Trader Sams Day 10: Sunshine and Spontaneity Bon Voyage Breakfast, Flight Of Passage, Pool time and a spontaneous dinner at Artist Point Day 11: Parks and Recreation Hollywood Studios and a hotel day! Day 12: Operation Snack Credit Epcot F&W and Illuminations Day 13: Be Our Guest 2: Beast's Redemption MK, BOG lunch and Pandora at night followed by Blaze Pizza! Day 14: The Clock Strikes Twelve Magic Kingdom, 'Ohana and back to Magic Kingdom until midnight! Day 15: Floundering Fish & The Unmagical Drink Animal Kingdom, Flying Fish, Abracadabar and Illuminations Day 16: The Day It All Went Wrong Crystal Palace, DS and the scariest and most tiring day ever Day 17 and 18: Going Home Take Two We wake up at Caribe Royale, finally get to Fly home and then drive home plus plans for our next trip!
