Copper creek,BLT or BMV?
Hi
We are planning a week stay, there will be 8 of us in a 2 bed villa-we are considering BMV,BLT,or copper creek.Have stayed at old key west and loved it,and kidani, which was lovely, but our location left a lot to be desired!.Any recommendations?-our children are aged 4 to 16,so quite a spread. We love magic kingdom and epcot,so BLT seems good, but the theming seems non existant. Was considering beach club but i think that it will be booked up thanks nadya Edited at 02:51 PM. |

I assume you mean BWV? Of the three you mention I would be so torn between BLT and WL.
I think the location and the totally modern feel of BLT outweighs the lack of theming. But, I have always loved WL and of the three would opt for that one. I know I'm in a tiny minority here but I cannot abide BWV but that's just me. Nice location though.

I love BLT as you're right in the heart of the action, you can hear the steam train over in MK and the ferry and boats on the lake, I also like the fact you can walk over to the Contemporary. I don't find the lack of theming a problem and love the fact you're close to WL, Fort Wilderness GF and the Poly, all of which are easy to get to. There's also the Top of the World Lounge and it's a bonus to watch the fireworks and then stroll back to your room. I've stayed in WL before and always used the boats so can't comment on the buses.
I'm another one who's not keen on BWV and if I was staying in the Epcot area I'd prefer BCV. It's worth checking availability, especially as you're after a 2 bed. I find that the studios are often gone but we can easily get a 1 bed.

We stayed at WL in November for 14 nights and always found the buses excellent, longest we waitex was 20 minutes for an MK bus as we literally had just missed one. Always seemed to be buses available to take us 'home' again as well. We also stayed at BLT for 3 nights and you really cannot beat it for transport options! Hard choice!

Thanks tink
I've checked availability for a 2 bed at bc,it's free at the moment but booked up to the 9th august,(we want 11th onwards),so we might get lucky I suppose if I'm there dead on 1pm.dd16 wants bcv but i'm a little concerned that stormalong bay might be very busy and with ds4 the depth of the bigger pools.thanks for your help |

I don't think Stormalong bay would be busier than any of the other resorts at that time of year plus it's huge so that helps. You could base yourself by the kiddy part of pool which has lots of sand for DS4 to playwith. Fingers crossed you get what you want and let us know

Good point ,it will be busy everywhere!.(too used to later august and okw where it's pretty quiet!)we have 2 ds with autism who like to run ,so 'basing' myself anywhere is only a fantasy..I saw on a video blog that the entrance to the slide is out of the gated area, which may be an issue too,as ds4 likes to follow his brothers, will take a good look at the map,and watch some more videos.

I love BWV, like the theme and being right there on the Boardwalk, all the restaurants there and in Epcot, walk easily to 2 parks. This summer Toy Story will be a big draw, stroll along for rope drop. All the restaurants in Epcot. I prefer BCV, but the standard points values of BWV win out for me.
