Yes it was good, I like Sarah Lancashire. The sound isn’t very good on my telly though and she didn’t sound as clear as in her other programmes.

Yes I watched it and enjoyed, quite a hard hitting drama for the times (bit like Next of Kin which is also good)

I found this and ended up putting the subtitles on, maybe it's her Bristolian accent!

We have just watched on catchup. We live in Bristol and the continuity is all to cock. She is driving up one road and then a second later, she is driving up the Gloucester Rd, a couple of miles away. DH kept walking across the film crew on his lunchtime constitutional , so loooking out for a silver haired fox in the background! We do miss spotting the locations on Casualty since it moved to Cardiff.

I thought it was v well acted. You could feel the supervisor’s stress when they were in the disciplinary meeting.

I expect there will be a few twists. Will check the other recommendations out, thanks, x

I’m watching the first episode now. The Grandad’s grief is horrible to watch but I’m disgusted by how the line manager seems to have thrown Miriam under the bus. She is a bit nutty and clearly allowed to get away with things that others aren’t (like bringing the farting dog to work!) But I assume that’s because her reputation has been so good until now. I’m not sure about the hip flask though!

Hiya RR, hope you're well girl . I read up on this series last night and I'm going to find it via the system we use. Apparently some social workers have stated they don't believe it factual correct, but it is a TV drama at the end of the day.

Apparently Sarah Lancashire can also been seen later this year when Season 3 of Happy Valley returns. I think she's an excellent actress.

RR, you still watching the eaglets? They're coming on so well.

I saw it in the listings but haven’t caught up yet.
My social worker friend said she couldn’t face it as soon as she saw the stereotypical oversized smock!

I’m curious if there are any Social Workers on the dibb, and to hear what they make of this.
