Portrait Artist of the Year

Does anyone else watch this? I really enjoy it, there are some really talented people out there. Though it's not often I agree with the judges as to who is the winner.

I love this.always amazed at how differently they all interpret the same sitter and also they seem to get to the stage where I think... that looks like nothing at all ! And then all of a sudden it just comes together.and no ,I don't agree with the judges x

Watch it every time. Think we now prefer the landscape version of this. One of our local artists has been on this and we loved one other artists work so much we sought them out to buy a piece of their work.

I agree - love the show but not always in agreement with the final decision.

I love this program - and also the Landscape Artist of the Year. I love watching the artists work and watching the portrait/picture develop. I am fascinated by some of their methods. I am in no way artistic and am in awe of these people and their talent.

I absolutely love this. Very pleased with the judges� choice for David Tennant and Noel Fielding and Daphne Self. I didn�t really like the portraits of Reggie Yates or Michaela Cole, and the Noel collage didn�t really seem in keeping with the rest of the series- in my opinion, if they�re going to include mixed media artists they should feature sculpters too! Looking forward to the rest of the series

I love love love this show! Glad I am not the only one! I am always amazed by how talented the artists are.
