Must say but last year, got very bored with Strictly which I absolutely loved.

Now Brendan has gone... this show really isn't going to be the same as it used to be.

Such a shame, will miss those gorgeous hips. xx

Was he axed or did he leave? Ive not read or heard about this today yet... but I remember it being speculated last year that a few comments he made to the judges were hinting it was going to be his last season. Cant remember what they were though, sorry!

I saw him on Lorraine this morning and it was quite sad, he was close to tears when he said he had done 13 years and was shocked that the BBC had not renewed his contract.

I’m gutted - I watch strictly for Brendan and Anton. Period.

I actually feel like boycotting - as previous poster said, Brendan was obviously shocked and saddened on GMTV. I wonder if the new judge didn’t like it when he argued a couple of times this year, as I don’t think he’s done anything he hasn’t done before, so why sack him now? - I’d actually choose Brendan over her every time!

It's sad as there are hardly any personalities and characters left in the professional dancers. I used to love Darren, Lillia, James, Ola, Christina, Karen, Natalie etc. They are all so boring now 😩 and I don't even remember most of their names! I don't like Shirley either and would be disappointed if she had anything to do with Brendon being sacked. I'd like to see Anton and/or Karen Hardy as judges.
